First of all, there are a load of magazines and newsletters published by PADI (The Undersea Journal, CEO Report, The Business of Diving, Aqua, Sport Diver, Dive Traveler).
They also conduct annual seminars that cover various educational, marketing and risk management topics. Each year PADI staff attend advisory meetings and member forums to discuss local issues and develop national and international dive community minimum training standards.
Project AWARE (Aquatic World Awareness, Responsibility and Education) encompasses PADI's environmental awareness and protection philosophy. Through their training, divers learn the importance of protecting fragile aquatic ecosystems and are encouraged to become involved in preservation efforts.
